You have to develop a relationship first.
You should use the redirect page to welcome them onto your list and explain a little bit about your free course. Maybe a paragraph.
Not too much and also explain that our welcoming email may take a few minutes to arrive.
It may end up in their promotions folder or their spam folder.
Explain how they can and should whitelist your emails, giving them a few options on how to whitelist an email depending on which email provider they use. Gmail, Yahoo etc
Don’t worry if you don’t know how to do this simply use a search engine to find out. Then copy – paste – edit – add your spin.
It really is that simple.
Use your redirect page to welcome them and give them even more reason to look for your email and open it.
